Ohio Chapter Memorial Fish Fry July 12, 2007

Rich A. Fratianne, a past Ohio Chapter President, Regional Governor and National President of the American College of Health Care Administrators, suddenly passed away on Easter Sunday morning, April 8, 2007.

Rich was a leader in the field of Long Term Health Care. He was the CEO of several retirement communities, including the Bethesda Scarlet Oaks Retirement Community, Cincinnati, Ohio. Rich was a Certified Fellow in the American College of Health Care Administrators and rose to the position of National President in 1990-1991. His leadership and accomplishments earned him the Distinguished Service Award, the highest honor bestowed upon the ACHCA membership.

Because of Rich’s love for the outdoors and the ACHCA an annual “melting pot” event will be held in his honor yearly. This year’s event was held at the home of James Farley, and consisted of a walleye fish fry with Rich’s family and many ACHCA college members.
